The world's strongest wood! Lignum Vitae wooden sword!

This is a wooden sword made from Lignum Vitae, boasting the world's highest hardness and weight. You can feel its substantial heft. The finishing process used abrasives to achieve maximum gloss. No varnish or other coatings have been applied. It has a faint aroma. This is a precious wood also known as Green Sandalwood, and its deep green color makes it a truly beautiful item.
We have pursued a shape close to that of a Japanese sword for many years.
As this is handmade, please check the photos for fine details.
It is heavier and thicker than commercially available wooden swords, making it recommended for practice swings.
Due to Washington Convention import restrictions, this wood is rarely available on the market. Its high hardness and extreme difficulty in processing mean that it takes a considerable amount of time to produce a single wooden sword.
While it naturally turns a deep green color when exposed to UV light, this wooden sword was intentionally exposed to UV light to adjust its color to achieve a black sword appearance. It was aged indoors for one year to stabilize the wood's deformation.
There is a small crack at the location shown in the last photo.
A sword stand is not included.

Weight: Approximately 920g
