Vintage embossed metal tin from Schumann featuring traditional Nürnberg scenes and originally used for Elisen-Lebkuchen (German gingerbread). This piece includes a built-in mechanical music box located inside the base. Tin is empty. Size: Beautifully detailed with raised imagery of historic German architecture and labeled scenes such as “Hauptmarkt” and “Tiergärtnertor.” The lid and sides feature ornate vintage-style engravings. The music box mechanism is present and works beautifully. Interior shows light wear consistent with age. Exterior has minor scuffs but displays very well.
