This item is being listed as part of a home decluttering. It has been stored for a long time (over 50 years) but was kept in its dedicated sword bag (cloth bag), so there are no noticeable damages to the tip or pommel, and the blade retains its luster.
While it has been displayed as a piece of art, it can also be used for suburi (swinging practice) for Kendo or Kenjutsu, or even for self-defense (lol).
