This is the Phonic D-515PA, a world-renowned masterpiece from Sonor.
Size: 14 x 5.75 inches.
Material: Beech with rosewood veneer.
Among Sonor's many snare drums, this is the number one snare drum in terms of both recognition and sound.
This is a current model, but the hoops have been changed to press hoops (Sonor-made), the same as in the 1980s. It offers a feel that is not as hard as die-cast hoops, retaining a vintage texture while also matching modern music – truly a drum for a lifetime.
