【About the Artwork】
Painting: Three Cats ~ Kaisen Don
This is a kaisen don (seafood bowl) with sashimi and other seafood piled on top of rice in a bowl. It's generously topped with fresh seafood caught in Hokkaido, including tuna, squid, salmon, sea urchin, salmon roe, yellowtail, and large shrimp. The Nyan-ko Tei kaisen don is also characterized by its cat paw prints and tiger-striped bowl. Oh? Three greedy cats have started playing hide-and-seek. They might disappear by the end!

The Three Cats series features mischievous cats playing hide-and-seek with their favorite foods. This time, the cats are a split-face cat, a white cat, and a ginger tabby cat.
