Vintage Hubley Gabriel 1480 Volkswagen Beetle VW Bug Metal Toy Car Red 7”  Price: $29.99 plus shipping  Condition: Used  Description: Vintage red Volkswagen Beetle toy car, attributed to the Hubley/Gabriel No. 1480 Mighty Metal series, likely dating from approximately the late 1960s to early 1970s.  The car has a red painted metal body with a cream-colored plastic chassis, molded interior and front and rear bumpers. It also features clear plastic windows, molded seats, a steering wheel, four rubber tires and an open sunroof. All four wheels are attached, and the vehicle rolls properly.  No clearly readable maker or model markings were found on the underside. Identification is based on the car’s body shape, size and construction.
