YAMAHA 14-inch Modified Marching Bass Drum

This is a modified Yamaha marching bass drum (MB214D) with added brackets to accommodate a Pearl Jungle Kit, allowing it to be played with a kick pedal. It can also be mounted on a tom holder. With the legs attached, it can be used as a floor tom. (Note: The foot pedal shown in image 1 is not included.)

The drum has a 14-inch diameter and an 8-inch depth.
It weighs approximately 4kg, making it lightweight and easy to carry.
Its compact size allows for space-saving setup.
Ideal for street live performances, small cafes and bars, or for children. Its cozy and cute appearance also makes it a charming miniature drum for display.

A key feature of this bass drum is its double-sided playable design. The legs can be extended from either direction. The pedal attachment is mounted in the center of the shell, allowing either side to be used as a batter head.
This means you can achieve two different sounds by simply flipping the drum and changing the leg direction, for example, by using a Powerstroke head on one side and a Clear Ambassador on the other. You won't have the hassle of changing heads each time. The drum comes standard with both sides fitted with smooth white heads featuring the YAMAHA logo.
As shown in images 12 and 13, you can attach cymbal arms or percussion holders to the extra brackets to equip cymbals, cowbells, etc. (Images 12 and 13 are for reference only and are not included in the listing.)

One point to note: If the pedal attachment is inserted deeply, the pedal's belt or chain may interfere with the hoop (see image 9). I used the pedal inserted shallowly to avoid interference (see image 10). If you wish to insert the pedal deeply, you may need to modify the hoop or replace it with a low-profile wood hoop or press hoop.

While there are minor pits on the chrome parts, there is no plating peeling or rust, and it looks clean at first glance. A genuine YAMAHA case is included.
