This is a work by my aunt, who has been a Washi (Japanese paper) collage instructor for over 40 years.
This is a Washi collage of Omoto (Japanese Aralia), which stays green all year round. Omoto is said to be auspicious, symbolizing prosperity and good fortune. Its flower language also includes longevity and long life. In winter, it bears red or vermilion fruits.
Please use this as a seasonal interior decoration for your room, entryway, etc. (*^^*)
◾️ We express the texture of the fibers like a painting by replacing paints with a rich variety of Washi paper. This is a handmade piece, carefully finished by hand over time. Please purchase after confirming the details in the photos and understanding that it is a handmade item. _(._.)_ (There may be slight warping on the shikishi (colored paper), but it will be unnoticeable when framed.)
◾️ Price includes shipping.
Ships via RakuRaku Mercari Bin (anonymous shipping).
We take care to pack carefully to prevent bending or breaking during shipping.
◾️ Immediate purchase is welcome.
