The Chotori Kezuri Takumi, featuring a dark brown wood grip and four blades that can be used depending on the shape of the shinai.
This shinai sharpening tool was purchased in November 2024 and used a few times between then and March of this year.
I bought it to maintain broken shinai for a few months until my child entered junior high school, intending to reassemble them for practice.
During those few months, I used this Takumi to sharpen and maintain or reassemble about 5 shinai.
It is very easy to handle, and even as an amateur and a woman, I was able to sharpen and maintain shinai.
Unfortunately, my child has quit Kendo, so I am selling it.
Visually, there are no chips in the blades, so I believe it can still be used, but as it is a used item, there may be some oversights.
