199.00 $
Description
Up for sale is a beautiful and rare vintage fine porcelain coffee pot (or tall teapot) from the iconic Pahang collection by Bernardaud Limoges, France. Known globally for producing some of the world's finest hard-paste porcelain, this stunning piece perfectly blends exotic mid-to-late 20th-century floral elements with traditional French opulence. The piece showcases an elegant baluster form resting on a flared pedestal base. It is intricately detailed with stylized, vibrant Persian or Indian-inspired floral sprays in shades of teal, blue, violet, and orange, surrounding a unique central green pineapple/artichoke-style motif. A striking, repeating geometric blue and hand-applied gold border runs along the collar and lid rim. The bottom is fully marked with the official green B & C - Limoges France mark alongside the blue Bernardaud Limoges - Pahang - Décor Inaltérable factory stamp.
