Washi Paper Collage Shikishi Finished Product "Sweet Pea" Flower Collage Tear Art Handmade

Thank you for viewing!
(⁎ᴗ͈ˬᴗ͈⁎)
This is a work by my aunt, who has been a Washi paper collage instructor for over 40 years.

This piece features sweet peas in soft pink and blue, delicately and charmingly depicted against a pale green background. The soft texture and three-dimensional effect unique to Washi paper are captivating. The flower language for pink sweet peas is said to be delicate and graceful, while blue signifies eternal joy.

Please enjoy the soft texture and color gradation of the Washi paper!

■ Washi paper of various types is used in place of paints, expressing the texture of the fibers like a painting. This is a handmade piece, carefully layered and finished by hand over time.
