Description
This is a vintage pewter cup & saucer set by Goebel, W. Germany. It was traditionally designed as an espresso or demitasse cup and meant to hold a porcelain insert (as can be seen in photos. NOTE: Porcelain cup is NOT included in this sale). The pewter cup and saucer feature simple design details and the cup's handle is simply ornate. Saucer measures 4 inches in diameter, cup is 3.25 wide with handle and stands at 1.5 inches tall, closer to 2 inches to top of handle. Photos show lovely patina and light scratches consistent with age and use.
