Utamaro Bijin-ga Ukiyo-e Woodblock Print Framed: Ten Portraits of Women, Japanese Washi Paper, Large Size
59.40 $
Description
This is a Ukiyo-e woodblock print featuring a beautiful woman painting by Kitagawa Utamaro. It is printed on Japanese paper and has been framed and displayed for many years.
The design is reminiscent of Utamaro's representative series of beautiful women, Ten Types of Women's Physiognomy, and it is a beautiful piece with intricate patterns on the hair ornaments and kimono.
The size is approximately 40 x 27 cm, close to the large size of Ukiyo-e prints. It has the signature Utamaro Hitsu and publisher's seal.
There are some stains and fading due to age, but it is in atmospheric condition for an old woodblock print. It will be delivered framed.
Recommended for interior decoration and collections.
