Purchased at a gallery in Ginza in the 1990s at an exhibition of original illustrations for Shakespeare's Sonnets.
The book illustrations are black and white, depicting a figure holding grass downwards. This print, however, is a reversed and hand-colored version, creating a bright and serene atmosphere. It is a wonderful piece that evokes pleasant feelings.
I would be happy to pass it on to someone who appreciates it.
