◆Artist Name: James Cox
◆Artist Biography: Born in the UK in 1956. Studied painting at Turrock. From 1976 to 1979, studied painting at West Surrey College of Art and Design, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree. After graduating, he traveled to France and Egypt, dedicating himself to his painting. Upon returning to London, he contributed to the establishment of Albion Press, producing copperplate and silkscreen prints. In 1986, he moved to Italy to work on paintings in Florence, where he resides to this day.
James Cox's works have been exhibited in shows in the UK, Australia, Japan, Switzerland, Italy, the United States, and other countries.

◆Artwork Condition: No noticeable stains, scratches, or yellowing, and in relatively good condition, but there is some waviness between the mat and the artwork. Please refer to the images for details.
◆Frame Condition: The wooden frame has scratches, dirt, and paint peeling due to age. One of the fasteners for the backing board is missing due to age, and the backing cover has some yellowing. There is also an information sticker for the artwork on the back (see photo. It appears to be a piece that was put up for sale due to the closure of a certain art rental company). Acrylic sheet on the front. No box.
