This is a hand-colored etching (copperplate print) by German artist Henry Goering (1871-1944).
It delicately depicts the courtyard of Beethoven's summer residence, Christofhof, in Mödling, Austria.

【Artwork Highlights】
・Musical Background: A musical score from Beethoven's masterpiece, Missa Solemnis (Solemn Mass), written during his time here, is depicted in the lower left of the artwork.
・Hand-Coloring: Each print is individually hand-colored, offering a warmth not found in mass-produced prints and a unique layering of colors, making it one-of-a-kind.
・Signature, etc.: This is an authentic work, confirmed by the artist's original pencil signature in the lower right, the location (Mödling, Christofhof) noted in the lower left, and the characteristic plate mark of an etching.

The artwork is framed in a luxurious gold wooden frame with an elegant fabric mat. A management label from the art dealer SKY ARTS is attached to the back. While in very good condition as an antique, we hope to find a buyer who appreciates the charm of vintage items.
