Vintage 1979 Acapulco Mexico Hand Painted Papier Mache Floral Serving Tray

Striking vintage Mexican decorative serving tray featuring a hand-painted floral design in vivid orange, red, burgundy, black, and gold tones.  The oval tray has two integrated handles, a sculpted raised rim, and an ornate central medallion surrounded by large flowers and delicate gold scrollwork. Writing on the underside appears to read “Acapulco, Mexico” with the date 1979, suggesting it was originally purchased as a mid-century travel souvenir.
