Ito Shin Tuning Hammer Star Shape No. 2 Wooden Handle L-Shape

This is one of the items from my father's belongings, who worked in the music industry.
It is a vintage item.
1. Overall Appearance
• An L-shaped tuning hammer with a wooden handle that fits comfortably in the hand.
• The head features an 8-point (star-shaped) socket, designed for precise turning of tuning pins.

2. Head Part
• The star (spline) shaped socket hole accurately fits the corners of the pin.
• Made of metal for high durability, it firmly supports the rotational force required for tuning.

3. Handle
• Made of wood (hardwood), it appears to be ebony. It is well-balanced with the heavy metal head, offering high operability.
• The total length is approximately 30 cm, designed to easily transfer arm strength to the socket.

4. Specifications
• Size is No. 2 (standard), which is commonly used and a staple, especially for piano tuning.
• The entire tool has a vintage feel, giving the impression of a high-end or professional-grade item.

A C tuning fork and a rubber piece that came with it are also included, as well as a wooden piece whose use is unknown.
