■ About the Frame
This poster is framed in a wooden frame with a black finish. The simple design of the frame, when viewed from the front, does not detract from the artwork and allows it to stand out as an interior piece. It is perfect for white walls, as well as modern, vintage, and natural-themed interiors. Placing artwork in your bedroom or living room can add color and create a special atmosphere in your daily life.

■ About the Poster
Avalon Ballroom: A hall that complements Bill Graham's Fillmore. A small, beautiful dance hall located on Sutter Street, Van Ness, San Francisco. The Avalon Ballroom was operated by Chet Helms and his Family Dog Productions. It is no exaggeration to say that most of the major groups of the time, such as the Grateful Dead and Quicksilver Messenger Service, performed here.

Chet Helms: From the early days of the San Francisco rock scene, he was active as a promoter alongside Bill Graham, and also as a producer for artists like Janis Joplin (Big Brother and the Holding Company). His contributions to the rock world are significant.

■ About the Printing Method
This poster is a lithograph. It is a type of planographic printing that utilizes the water-repellent properties of oil (ink). It is the precursor to offset printing. Originally, stones (= litho) were used as the printing plate, hence the name lithograph, but nowadays aluminum plates, which are easier to handle, are often used. Its characteristic is that it can print fine brushstrokes and ink splatters without losing the original plate's expression.
