Rogers & Son was established in Hartford, Connecticut, by William Rogers Sr. and his son, William Rogers Jr. The brand name continued to be used for decades after it was integrated into the International Silver Company. The AA Quality Mark: The AA at the end is a plating grade stamp. In the silverplate industry, AA denotes an extra-heavy coating of real silver, meaning these spoons were built with double the standard silver thickness of regular plated flatware to withstand daily use.
