Laura Fiume
Italian Female Artist (Painting)
Laura Fiume is a contemporary artist with experience in design, painting, graphics, and ceramics. Her sources of inspiration are the world of design and animals. Her works are painted on various home furnishing fabrics, aiming to create tactile pieces that highlight the textures of items like armchairs, scarves, cushions, and bags.
The different fabric textures emphasize the material feel and transparency of the decorative objects, as well as the individuality of the beloved dogs and cats depicted in her works.
While human figures are not present in her artwork, they tell the stories of the people who lived there, leaving behind only traces that animate the room through their presence, even in their absence.
