Kendo Asano 60-piece Bamboo Do Tokyo Seibudo Sangaimatsu Bishamon
250.80 $
Description
Asano Bamboo Do (Torso Armor)
Purchased about 30 years ago at Tokyo Seibudo.
I believe the set cost around 900,000 yen at the time.
There are many scratches on the surface, but the do-dai (torso armor body) itself has no looseness whatsoever.
This is an Asano bamboo do that is no longer available.
There are scuffs and wear from use, but no structural damage or looseness. Unlike typical used bamboo do, there are no cracks or peeling of the bamboo on the back.
With proper care, I believe this can be used without issue for another 10 to 20 years.
I would be happy if someone who will use it with care could purchase it.
If you let me know your region, I can introduce you to a reliable shop nearby for crest removal or repainting.
Thank you very much.
