Pottery Barn Vintage Label Cheese Plate: Camembert Superieur Double Crème Calvados Extra Vin  This is a round ceramic cheese plate featuring a decorative vintage French Camembert label transfer in the center. The design includes a central crest with a rampant lion, a blue and yellow color palette, and a leafy green border along the rim. Pottery Barn had a set of four cheese plates: subject plate, Parmigiano Reggiano, Bumble Bee Brie Triple Cream & Extra Sharp Cheddar.  Pottery Barn produced this popular line of decorative kitchenware and tableware in the late 20th and early 21st centuries. The design was inspired by antique French cheese packaging labels and European mercantile graphics. These novelty plates were sold as decorative table settings or specialized cheese service dishes, and they remain popular among collectors of themed modern tableware.
