Longchamp France Pottery Stoneware 12" Plate Platter Brown Beige Cream Set Of 3
Longchamp
Vintage stoneware dinner plate from Longchamp, a renowned French pottery manufacturer (Terre de Fer / faience fine) based in Burgundy, France. Founded in the 19th century, Longchamp produced high-quality earthenware and stoneware tableware from around 1840s until the factory closed in the late 20th century (with brief revivals). This particular design features their classic hand-applied swirled glaze technique—a creamy white base with beige-to-brown spiral patterns created by pouring or brushing glaze onto the spinning piece, resulting in that organic, hypnotic concentric flow. These rustic, bohemian-chic plates are durable, food-safe stoneware with a glossy finish and subtle speckles, perfect for everyday use or display. They're highly collectible. The bottom has a Longchamp France. Due to the nature of pottery making, no two pieces are the same. These pieces will have imperfections but there are no large chips. On one plate there is some glaze cracks but the pottery is in good condition. Sold only as a set.
