Used Kendo Children's Black Do (Chest Protector) Kasumi-ryu Machine Stitched Fukuda Budogu
38.94 $
Description
My son used this for dojo practice when he was in junior high school.
I believe he used it for about 3 years, once a week. It has a fair amount of signs of use.
He outgrew it due to his growth, and I am reluctantly selling it.
There are scuffs on the leather, but I believe it is still usable.
Unlike cheaper resin bodies, the do (chest protector) is sturdy.
The do himo (straps) that were used will be included.
I believe this is suitable for elementary and junior high school students. It was purchased from Fukuda Budogu in Asaka.
It is a Fukuda specialty Kasuryu machine-stitched model, and the set price was around 200,000 yen.
The dimensions are as follows:
Inner width of do: 36.5 cm
Center height of do: 34.5 cm
Maximum height of do: 37.5 cm
I am also selling the tare (apron) that was part of the set.
