J Bee's Wax Musical Instrument Blend Wax with Beeswax and Rice Bran Oil, 20ml

J Bee's Wax Blend for Musical Instruments with Beeswax and Rice Bran Oil, 20ml

This is a musical instrument wax primarily made from unbleached beeswax harvested from Japanese honeybees and rice bran oil, blended with jojoba oil.

We are truly grateful that one year after its release, many users have praised its excellent spreadability and texture.

Rice oil, deeply familiar to Japanese people since ancient times, has semi-drying properties and has been used as an oil finish for woodworking. It is especially valued as a safe finishing oil for homes with small children.
In recent years, rice bran oil has also gained attention in the beauty industry as a beauty oil. For this product, we are using domestically produced, high-quality rice bran oil typically used for beauty applications.

During the production process, I tested and refined the blend of beeswax and oil on approximately 10 electric guitars, basses, and acoustic guitars that I own.
A blend of only jojoba oil felt a bit watery (non-drying) and would solidify at low temperatures when applied in studios during winter, while becoming more watery in the summer. I discovered rice bran oil as a stabilizing oil, leading to the use of a higher quality rice bran oil.
While a blend of just rice bran oil and beeswax provides sufficient waxing, moisturizing, and protective effects, it can feel slightly heavy. By blending a small amount of jojoba oil, we've added spreadability, a lighter feel, and antioxidant properties to complete the product.
It can be used like a finger ease with beeswax wax made from jojoba oil, and the smooth feel on the back of the neck makes it indispensable.

Although offered in a small 20ml size, we believe this is a sufficient amount that will last for several years for instrument use.

As everything is done by hand, please excuse any imperfections in sticker quality or minute residues from the beeswax.

While we use high-quality oil, it has only been tested for use on musical instruments. Please refrain from using it for other purposes.
