For Barclay: Kawase Hasui "Shinagawa" 1931 Genuine Woodblock Print Shin-Hanga

We have acquired an extremely rare item: Kawase Hasui's Shinagawa, a woodblock print from his lifetime.

This piece depicts the rainy scenery of Shinagawa, with people holding colorful umbrellas amidst the gloomy downpour.

Shinagawa is said to have over 50 colors due to the meticulous separation of each hue during the printing process, making it a true masterpiece.

This particular print, Shinagawa, is one of 26 prints from the series Tokaido Fukei Senshu (Selected Views of the Tokaido Road). The Tokaido Fukei Senshu series is highly acclaimed, even considered a collection of masterpieces among Kawase Hasui's works.

Hasui's prints possess a mysterious charm that soothes the mind and brings a sense of comfort just by gazing at them.

As this is an exceptionally rare print that rarely becomes available, we highly recommend acquiring it and enjoying its beauty.
