Description
This is a Takeaki kote from Hakata-ya Budogu store in Nagasaki.
I believe it is a 2-bu hand-stitched kote.
My palm measurements:
Vertical length: 20-21 cm
Circumference: 21 cm
I purchased this over 10 years ago and used it while making repairs.
I am now selling it as I have replaced it with the same Takeaki kote.
There are some frays and repaired areas on the cuff, but it is still usable.
The palm lining has been replaced once and is in good condition as shown in the photos.
It is also made of deerskin, making it comfortable and an excellent item.
As it was purchased over 10 years ago, the indigo leather and palm lining are of superior quality compared to current models.
