Antique 1910s-30s Hand Crochet Cotton Boudoir Night Cap Drawstring Antique hand-crocheted boudoir or night cap worked in fine white cotton thread. Beautiful circular crochet construction with alternating dense and openwork bands and a delicate lacy outer edge. A crocheted drawstring runs through the perimeter, allowing the cap to gather around the head. These lightweight handmade caps were traditionally worn as boudoir, sleeping or dressing caps. Wonderful surviving piece of early 20th-century needlework and a lovely addition to an antique textile, lingerie or historical clothing collection. White/ivory cotton. Hand crocheted.
