This is a record of wild plants that color the nature of England, richly illustrated with delicate and artistic botanical illustrations. The origins of The Frampton Flora date back to the early 19th century. This collection of botanical paintings is based on a historical collection of plant specimens discovered in the gardens of Frampton Court in Gloucestershire, England. At that time, gardeners and plant enthusiasts at Frampton Court meticulously observed their surrounding natural environment and left behind sketches and records of wild plants. These precious illustrations were carefully preserved for generations and later compiled into this book. Along with the hand-drawn botanical paintings, this book provides detailed explanations of each plant's characteristics, growing environment, and cultural background. With every turn of the page, the world of plants recorded by botanists and gardeners of the past unfolds, making it a book that allows you to experience their research and passion across time!
