The color is approximately the second shade from the left in the Washoku Iro Daijiten (Dictionary of Japanese Colors).
This is a beautiful Edo Komon with a sachitori (shredded pattern).

The garment still has basting stitches throughout and no noticeable flaws are apparent. However, please understand that this is a used item.
