Vintage Marigold Carnival Glass Swirl Bowl Fairy Lamp

A beautiful vintage marigold carnival glass pedestal bowl, creatively styled as a fairy lamp. The bowl features a graceful flared shape with a wide rolled rim and a dramatic swirling ribbed pattern. Its marigold glass has lovely carnival iridescence, showing flashes of gold, amber, pink, blue, and violet as the light changes. For its fairy-lamp transformation, the bowl is simply inverted over a battery-operated tea light. The swirling pattern catches and diffuses the light beautifully, creating a rich golden glow while still allowing the iridescent carnival finish to shine through. When not being used as a fairy lamp, simply turn it upright and enjoy it as the lovely vintage pedestal bowl it was originally intended to be. Vintage glass styled as a fairy lamp—it was not originally manufactured as lighting. Battery-operated light only; no open flame. Vintage condition with normal signs of age and use.
