Description

Thank you for looking.

This is a solid ink stick that my grandfather purchased in China about 20 years ago.
It features a carved dragon pattern, creating a beautiful and impressive design.
While the box shows signs of age, the ink stick itself has been stored unused.

I would be happy to pass this on to someone who can use it for calligraphy or sumi-e painting.
It will be shipped in the box shown in the photos.

Please feel free to ask any questions you may have.

The ink stick is inscribed with the characters 鳳龍舞翔 (Hōryū Bushō), depicting a phoenix and dragon soaring through the heavens. This auspicious motif also holds artistic value.
