Pair of vintage solid brass equestrian halter/bridle holders, acquired as a barn find. Each features a wide curved support designed to hold a halter or bridle without sharply creasing the leather, plus a lower hook for a lead rope, reins or additional tack. Approximately 5 inches tall and 4 inches wide. Heavy brass construction with mounting holes for wall installation. Nice authentic tack-room hardware with age-related scratches, tarnish, spotting and patina. No maker's mark observed. Mounting screws not included. Condition: Vintage pre-owned barn-find condition. Surface wear, scratches, oxidation/tarnish and patina consistent with age and use. Please see photos.
