12000→1200
This item was carefully stored in the guest room of my family home.
Kanji calligraphy frames are popular among foreign enthusiasts and collectors, representing Japanese culture.

The poem is by Oshima Ryota,
one of the five great masters of the Edo period, alongside Yosa Buson and Kaga no Chiyo.
May rain, and one night, secretly
the moon over the pine tree.
* May rain
This refers to the gentle, continuous rain of May.
The meaning is that one night, upon opening the window, the moon was quietly hanging over the pine tree.
This is considered Ryota's famous verse.
