Vintage Hand-Carved Wooden Wall Plaques Set of 3 with Mexican Folk Dance

There’s a particular charm to mid-century Mexican-fiesta decor — the strum of a guitar under a palm tree, a señorita mid-twirl, cactus silhouettes against an evening sky. These round medallions would have hung together on a den or bar wall in the ’50s or ‘60s, the kind of playful, south-of-the-border theme that was everywhere in that era’s home decor. This is a set of 3 round Syroco Wood wall plaques, marked “Syroco Wood, Made in U.S.A., Syracuse, N.Y.” on the reverse. The trio depicts a mariachi guitar player, a flamenco-style dancer mid-motion, and a señorita standing beneath a palm tree — each framed by cactus details and a carved triangle-and-rope border. ✦ The Details • Marked Syroco Wood, Syracuse, N.Y., Made in U.S.A. • Molded wood-composite construction (Syroco’s signature “faux carved” material) • Each plaque approximately 4–4.5 inches in diameter • Mexican fiesta motif: mariachi guitarist, flamenco dancer, and señorita under a palm tree • Cactus and palm details, carved triangle-rope border • Wall-mount hanging tabs on the back of each piece • Fronts display well; backs show expected surface wear/flaking consistent with the material and age • Sold as a set of 3 ✦ Perfect For • Syroco and mid-century wall decor collectors • A themed gallery wall or bar-cart nook • Fiesta, cantina, or south-of-the-border styling • Retro/kitsch home decor • A nostalgic gift for a mid-century collectible lover
