Description
Vintage Mertens Kunst wooden wall plaque featuring the charming 'Susi and Hans' characters, designed by Alfred Mertens in 1971. This authentic Western Germany piece showcases a boy and girl sitting back-to-back on a rocker-style base, complete with two red wooden pegs for light hanging. The whimsical illustration style and hand-painted aesthetic make it a perfect addition to a nursery or child's room with a retro or mid-century vibe. Note that there is some visible paint wear and scuffing along the bottom edges and feet consistent with its age. Measurements: • Width: 10 • Height: 8
