Description

River trekking shoes that combine the benefits of jika-tabi (split-toe boots) and waraji (straw sandals). The laces can be pulled from the heel side like waraji, allowing for a snug fit around the entire foot. The toes are split internally like jika-tabi, and the insole is made of skin material to prevent foot slippage. The felt sole cushions the impact from rough, uneven rocks and provides a secure grip on wet surfaces.

Used once for river trekking after purchase.
