These are L.L.Bean Bean Boots, slip-on type. Purchased at the Freeport, Maine flagship store in the spring of 1976 during a tour for the magazine Made in USA.
The upper is brown leather, and the sole is rubber, featuring a classic design.
After 50 years, there are scuffs and fading on the leather parts, and dirt on the rubber parts.
They have been used sparingly, the heels show no scuffing as pictured, and while the soles have minimal wear, they have deteriorated with age. They do not come with laces. They are not suitable for use.
