This is an original (hand-painted) hanging scroll titled 清風拂明月 (Seifu Fuku Myogetsu) by Kōdō Hosai of Ryūgen-in, Daitoku-ji Temple in Kyoto.
Due to its age, there are some creases in the scroll, but it is authentic. Please enjoy displaying it in your daily life.

(Biography)
Kōdō Hosai was the head priest of Ryūgen-in, a sub-temple of Daitoku-ji.
Ryūgen-in is the oldest sub-temple of Daitoku-ji, founded by three lords: Yoshimoto Hatakeyama of Noto, Yoshioki Ōuchi of Suō, and Yoshichika Ōtomo of Bungo, with Great Master Bukkei Daien as its founder.
The temple is known for its gardens such as Ryūgin-tei, Tōteki-tsubo, and the stone garden of A-un.
The stone garden in front of the Hōjō was created under the supervision of the late Abbot Kōdō Hosai.
It is considered the main temple of the Southern School of Daitoku-ji, in contrast to the Northern School, whose main temple is Daisen-in.
