When reassembling a bamboo sword, or when replacing dirty parts such as the handle or tip leather, attaching this kazari (*) allows you to tighten the string firmly.
(*) It seems there are various other names for this part, such as komono, kaeshi, gen-gaeshi, chousei-gawa, chippu, gen-biki, koma, tsuruwa, etc.
Kazari are rarely sold individually, so I made these by effectively utilizing old handles. This time, I am offering a set of 5.
If you don't have a kazari, you would tie the string to create a return equivalent to the kazari. Please check the second photo for instructions on how to attach the kazari.
As mentioned above, this is a handmade product made from repurposed old handles, so there may be dirt and stains as shown in the third photo. Please consider purchasing only if you understand this.
