Vintage 1940s Canterbury Silverplate Trinket Tray Small Soap Dish Catchall
Cantebury Silverplate
19.00 $
Description
This vintage 1940s silver-plated dish by Canterbury Silversmiths brings timeless mid-century elegance to any room, beautifully repurposed for modern everyday use. Originally crafted as the base of a covered butter dish, this standalone piece features a deep rectangular well and a striking, ornate gadroon (rope-style) border along the rim. While missing its original domed lid, it functions perfectly on its own as a luxurious vanity trinket tray for rings and jewelry, a sophisticated bathroom soap dish, an entry table catchall, or a unique desk organizer for paperclips. It shows a warm, authentic vintage patina with minor surface wear consistent with age, lending a lovely antique character to your home decor. Please review all photos. 4.75 x 3.5 x 1 inches
