Description
Set of 2 vintage Japanese Satsuma style bud vases featuring a classic crackle glaze finish. Each vase is decorated with intricate floral chrysanthemum motifs and birds, accented with gold-toned gilding around the rim and throughout the artwork. The bottom of the vases includes a red and gold maker's mark. Approximate height is 6 inches. These pieces show light wear consistent with age, including some minor surface markings and natural crazing in the glaze. No major chips or cracks observed. Perfect for a shelving display or as a decorative accent.
