This is a high-status 20-inch Imperial Russian Samovar, a genuine piece of history from the Vasily Batashev factory in Tula. This is the heavy-duty Large model, measuring a full 16 inches across the handles—far more imposing than standard decorative units.  The factory stamps on the base verify this as a true Batashev, the most sought-after name in Tula craftsmanship. The heavy-gauge brass has aged with a phenomenal, multi-tonal tarnish that proves its age and lack of modern interference.
