Riihimäen Lasi Tamara Aladin 1472 Art Glass Vase Smoke Brown Finland

Designed by Tamara Aladin for Riihimäen Lasi, this Model 1472 vase is a striking example of Finnish modern glass from the late 1960s to early 1970s. Its sculptural silhouette, defined by smooth stacked ring forms and richly colored smoke brown glass, reflects Aladin's distinctive approach to clean, architectural design. Equally at home displaying flowers or standing alone as a decorative object, it remains one of her most recognizable works.  The vase measures approximately 11½ inches tall and 5 inches in diameter. It is in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Remnants of the original Riihimäen Lasi foil label remain near the base, as shown in the photos.  We carefully select every item and believe in transparency. In the case of vintage or pre-owned items, we don't always know their full history, but we have high standards and won't list or sell anything we wouldn't use ourselves. All items come from a smoke-free home.
