Ryosen Kōda, Grand Abbot
99th Chief Priest of Zenkō-ji Daikanjin
Zenkō-ji Daikanjin is a head temple of the Tendai sect and the main temple of the 25 sub-temples within Zenkō-ji. It manages Zenkō-ji together with the Daikangan. The chief priest is called Kanjū, and together with the Zenkō-ji Shōnin of the Daikangan, serves as the chief priest of Zenkō-ji.
I understand that a family member participated in the sutra copying event at Zenkō-ji Daikanjin, and that this item was obtained through that connection.
Please consider this item with the understanding that it is an old antique, and has been stored by an amateur for a long time.
