Teal Turquoise Indented Art Glass "Drunken Bottle" Style Vase

Breathtaking vintage mid-century modern studio glass piece by Mdina Glass (Malta) in their iconic Ming sea-and-sky colorway. This piece beautifully captures the organic, fluid movement of the legendary Drunken Bottle design style by Rosenthal. Featuring a heavy, subtly asymmetric slouch and a thick, sculptural rim, the body boasts a wonderful liquidity, swirling deep turquoise teal and rich seafoam greens together inside thick, substantial walls of hand-blown glass. A gorgeous, undulating statement piece that catches natural window light beautifully. Great vintage structure with beautifully vibrant color. No chips, cracks, or cloudiness. The base features a smooth, unpolished factory contact ring. There is a localized scratched area on the body near the base consistent with vintage age and display handling (see photos).
