Vintage Brass Bow Oval Picture Frame Made in Italy, Pressed Leaf Keepsake

There’s something quietly moving about finding a piece like this — a small, ornate brass frame topped with a delicate bow, holding onto a handwritten scrap of someone’s autumn. It’s the kind of thing that would’ve sat on a vanity or a shelf in a sunlit room, doing its one small job of holding a memory in place. This is a vintage brass bow-top oval frame, marked “Made in Italy for Action” (Cheswick, PA), with the original decorative filigree border and easel-style stand intact. It currently holds a pressed maple leaf with “Helen’s New Leaf” handwritten beneath it — a sweet little curiosity from its past life. The insert can easily be swapped out, so it’s ready to hold your own photo or keepsake whenever you’re ready to make it yours. ✦ The Details • Marked “Made in Italy for Action,” Cheswick, PA • Cast brass with ornate bow-top detail and beaded oval border • Approximately 4–4.5 inches tall • Easel-style cardboard stand on the back, hinged for tabletop display • Natural brass patina consistent with age — not polished, sold as-is • Currently holds a vintage pressed leaf & handwritten “Helen’s New Leaf” insert (removable) • No cracks, dents, or damage to the frame itself ✦ Perfect For • Collectors of vintage Italian brass frames or Action Industries pieces • A ready-to-use frame for your own small photo or keepsake • Hollywood Regency or vintage vanity styling • A conversation-piece curiosity, kept just as found • A thoughtful gift
