This is a hanging scroll calligraphy artwork purchased over a decade ago during a visit to the Shoren-in Monzeki in Kyoto.
Title: Ippō Kumobenpen (一峯雲片々)
* Ippō Kumobenpen means wisps of clouds hanging over a high mountain peak. It can also be interpreted as a scene of clouds floating freely as they are.
Artist: Master Jikō Higashifushimi, Head Priest of Shoren-in Monzeki
Artwork Type: Kanji calligraphy work

Authenticity of Handwriting: To the untrained eye, it is unclear whether the calligraphy within the fan shape is handwritten or printed. (Photos 5 and 6 show the thin Japanese paper of the fan-shaped artwork lifted.) It is also unclear whether the seal impression is real vermilion ink or printed. My apologies. However, the name of the Head Priest in the lower right appears to be handwritten.

【Product Condition】
At the time of purchase, it was placed on slightly thick paper and covered with thin paper. It has been stored flat in a drawer at home since then.
To the untrained eye, there are almost no noticeable stains, scratches, folds, tears, or sun damage. It is in very good condition and is clean.

【Shipping Method】
The item will be placed in a plastic bag, rolled up in a cardboard tube, and shipped using Raku-Raku Mercari便 (standard shipping service) size 60, or possibly size 80 in a thick, flat cardboard bag.
