Tsuda Seifu Framed Fan-Shaped Calligraphy: Poem by Li Bai
46.20 $
Description
This is a framed piece featuring a poem by Li Bai, calligraphed by Tsuda Seifu onto a fan. It was either purchased or received as a gift from my mother, who studied painting under Tsuda Seifu, so it is undoubtedly an authentic work. The dimensions are approximately 41.5 x 21.5 cm for the fan surface, 54.5 x 25 cm for the paper the fan surface is mounted on, and 78 x 35 cm for the frame. Due to age, there are some minor stains and dirt on the fan surface. The color at the bottom of the fan surface appears to be original to the artwork.
